May 17, 2018 Peterborough, ON:
Peterborough Child & Family Centres, formerly known as The Peterborough Family Resource Centre has undergone a comprehensive rebranding effort. Providing information and support to expectant parents, families with children from birth to age 6, and child care providers living in the County and City of Peterborough, PCFC’s rebranding consisted of three key components: a new name, logo, and website update.
The new, modernized brand represents PCFC’s ongoing commitment to serve as the place to go for families with young children if they need a caring, accessible space; or when they need professional expertise and resources; or when they want a safe, fun environment to connect with others who will be accepting and supportive.
The rebrand also includes a new tagline, “Share, Learn, Grow”, which speaks to the three pillars underpinning PCFC’s programs and services. Reflecting on the charity’s rebrand, Chief Executive Officer Barbara Lillico explained, “As our agency has evolved and grown over more than 35 years, this rebrand provides the opportunity to more clearly represent the work we do. Our new brand better articulates our commitment to supporting children and families as they grow and develop through the early years”.
A registered, charitable, non-profit organization, Peterborough Child & Family Centres have offered programs and services for families of young children for more than 30 years. From parent education, to parent-child programs, to breastfeeding clinics, PCFC serves babies, young children and families. Our services can be found in a variety of safe, accessible, urban and rural locations across Peterborough City and County.
Peterborough Child & Family Centres are an EarlyON Centre for Peterborough City & County, and the local site of the federally funded Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program and Community Action Program for Children.
